Michael Wooley specializes in business and family immigration and serves as chairman of the firm's immigration law practice group.
Mike represents numerous U.S. employers and alien professionals in the health care and manufacturing industries, as well as in the higher education and information technology sectors. Mike also has represented immigration clients involved in professional and semi-professional sports. He has been recognized as a Super Lawyer in immigration by the Michigan Super Lawyer magazine.
Mike is fluent in oral and written Spanish and has negotiated telecommunications and commercial contracts for clients doing business in Latin America. He regularly provides clients with Spanish language translation and interpreter services.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Mike served as a United States Peace Corp volunteer in Ecuador from 1988 to 1991, where he worked with water purification systems in 25 villages in the jungles of the western Andes.
Mike has a deep commitment to the Bay City community, where he has served as a city commissioner and a board member of various local charitable and service organizations. Mike lives in Bay City with his wife and their two daughters.
